Craigavon Hospital Street
Colour changing and energy controls for the nerve centre of Craigavon Hospital
Light Logistics were consulted in the design of the lighting controls for the colour changing feature lighting and the daylight regulating/presence detection control for the main spine corridor of Craigavon Area Hospital, helping to turn a dull depressing space into a vibrant energising thoroughfare. We used Ex-Or's ubiquitous CDH unit as a base for the system, with Fibre Optic FX's DMX controls for the RGB.
Colour Changing Sculptures
We recently commissioned the colour changing lighting controls for two public art installations in Lurgan and Portadown. The installations used a mix of colour changing and static white luminaires and have been very well received by the Council and the public alike. Colour changing was achieved with the iGuzzini Colour Quick system, a DALI based control unit with the facility to select static colours and several pre-programmed colour change sequences.
What's in the box?
We're in the dock- thankfully only the Titanic dry dock, where we've been helping Chroma Lighting with their iGuzzini Demo, providing on site technical assistance with temporary power supplies, controls etc.
Pay attention!
We've been fortunate to enjoy the company of Tim Posson from INOTEC in Germany, who gave us a very interesting presentation on the CLS system, a decentralised battery system that is in use in many education and healthcare premises throughout NI.
