Salvador by Casambi- we’ve been using Casambi for many years now- it’s by far the most reliable, robust, flexible and cost effective lighting control system we’ve ever seen, and it’s taken a leap forward with SALVADOR, which allows Casambi to integrate with existing DALI (geddit?) systems, ensuring that existing wired systems can be seamlessly controlled as part of a Casambi system. Great for projects where older parts of a building need to be updated to work as one system. You can learn more about it here.
Bespoke copper finish for iconic projectors at Bushmills Distillery
The iGuzzini MaxiWoody is a design classic in use all over NI and RoI, but there aren’t too many in a polished copper finish, courtesy of HMG Coatings. We had to meticulously dismantle and reassemble them for painting. Nothing but the best for the oldest distillery in the world!
Breathing some new (LED) life..
On the back of refurbishment work carried out on the heritage luminaires around Queen’s University, Light Logistics have refurbished some particularly weary lanterns around Belfast City Hall. The transformation is as impressive in performance terms as it is visually, with CoB light engines on ‘tailored’ internal panels from UK manufacturer Metcraft that deliver excellent colour rendering, efficacy and operating life.
The luminaires are brought back to life by careful rewiring, repainting, cleaning, testing and with a new CoB LED, they are ready to enhance the appearance of City Hall (at least until the pigeons get at them!)
Crescent Church Belfast
Engaged to fit out bespoke decorative pendants, created by Chroma Lighting from a concept by Light Bureau- Body by Metalcraft, diffusers by Donite Plastics, tuneable white LED panels from Tridonic and downlights from Illuxtron- all to be controlled by Casambi Bluetooth!
Knockagh Monument
Knockagh monument occupies a prominent position on the skyline between Belfast and Carrickfergus and was built to commemorate the fallen of WW1. This familiar monument recently enjoyed a refresh in the form of colour changing lighting from Lumenpulse, controlled via Casambi Bluetooth app and DMX. The Council can now change the colours or sequences using an iPad while standing beside the monument. Colin Kenny of Light Logistics commissioned and demonstrated the features of this superbly reliable wireless system.
